Our primary role is to support the women who come to us and their children, but there aren’t always enough hands to go around. We welcome support and involvement from the community and are always open to suggestions people have about volunteering their time, help and skills. Read more about how to volunteer with us

We also accept donations of clean practical clothing, bedding, shoes, socks, and beauty and hygiene products. We hold a Winter Beanie Drive in May each year, which has become a great success both for the community and the shelter.

We also welcome financial donations that we can utilise for specific projects or expenses. To learn more about how to help us with financial  support click here.

About us:

Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia (WoSSCA) is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation that operates on a feminist framework and is committed to assisting and enabling women and children experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land we work on, as the first people of this country. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders past, present and emerging.

Our vision is for greater safety, respect and dignity for all women and their children in Central Australia.
